Harvested mostly in Emilia Romagna, between July and August, apricots are very sweet, juicy and tender, and rich in antioxidants and low-calorie. Flavor: pleasantly sweet. Pairings and tips: A treat when paired with goat ricotta, chocolate, and soft cheese, and as a filling for tarts. Also delicious with biscuits or toast.
