Figs are harvested mainly in Campania from the beginning of summer until the end of September. Figs are rich in sugar, yet not particularly high in calories. Flavor: sweet and delicious. Pairings and tips: exquisite paired with prosciutto crudo, gorgonzola, aged cheese and pork.
